The Eighth Lithuanian Song Festival will take place in Chicago, IL on July 2, 2006 and is organized by Lithuanian American Community, Lithuanian Canadian Community and the North American Lithuanian Music Association. More than 1000 singers from nearly 30 cities across the U.S. and Canada will join together in song at the University of Illinois Pavilion in Chicago.

This festival will continue the rich tradition of Lithuanian Song Festivals in North America, which began in 1956. It is a great opportunity for all Lithuanians to join together as one and share their heritage with the Chicago community.
